rRNA genes from the genomes
======

Sequences and metadata of ribosomal RNA (rRNA) genes identified from the
genome sequences.

Specifically, three types of rRNA genes were identified:

 -  5s:  5S rRNA
 - 16s: 16S rRNA
 - 23s: 23S rRNA

RNAmmer v1.2 was used to identify rRNA genes. Command:

```
rnammer -S <bac or arc> -m lsu,ssu,tsu -gff output.gff input.fna
```

Data files:

 - ".frn": rRNA gene sequences. IDs are in format of "Genome ID_gene index".
   Note that one genome may have multiple copies of the rRNA gene. The indices
   of individual rRNA genes do not indicate the indices of the rRNA operon.

 - ".tsv": Metadata of rRNA genes.

Statistics:

 -  5s: 30,614 sequences from 12,990 genomes
 - 16s: 22,868 sequences from 13,295 genomes
 - 23s: 20,509 sequences from 11,236 genomes
